Chelsea to win the 2016/17 Premier League trophy

The Premier League has never been stronger. Quite a few teams are still in the race for the title and it remains to be seen who will have a reason for celebration at the end of the season.

The likes of Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool are all determined to finish the season in top position in the standings, but Chelsea are leading the chase for the Premier League title at the moment.

The Blues are on the right track to regain the trophy but the fellow title rivals should not be underestimated.

Two seasons ago Chelsea won their last Premier League trophy, but they experienced all sorts of problems under Jose Mourinho in the 2015/2016 season.

The Blues finished the campaign in tenth position and, as a result, the club chiefs were forced to make changes to the squad in the summer transfer window.

The likes of David Luiz, Marcos Alonso, N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi all joined the club in the summer, with Antonio Conte taking over the reins.

Conte had proved his worth at Juventus, the Italian coach winning five Serie A titles with the Bianconeri and he is now on a quest to make history with Chelsea.

The charismatic tactician is doing a great job with the Stamford Bridge outfit and Chelsea have been producing terrific performances in the Premier League ever since he switched to the 3-4-3 formation.

Serbian defender Branislav Ivanovic lost his place in the starting XI and it has to be noted that the Blues have been impressive at the back ever since he dropped to the bench.

Spanish winger Pedro is enjoying a season to remember, while former Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa just can’t stop scoring.

Eden Hazard poses a big threat for opposition defenders in the 3-4-3 system, but it seems as if the Blues lack some strength in depth.

Antonio Conte will certainly use cup games to rest his key players, which should give Chelsea extra edge over their title rivals.

We have made a lot of money betting on Chelsea this season and our advice is to put your cash on teams who look solid at the back.

The Blues have conceded no more than 15 goals in 20 league matches so far this season and defensive trio Cahill – Luiz – Azpilicueta seems to be in a perfect working order.

Chelsea are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in upcoming league fixtures with defensive midfielders Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante also helping out the back four whenever needed.

The Blues do not have any European distractions this term and that is the main reason why they are regarded as hot favourites to lift the Premier League trophy.

Manchester City have been struggling to find their best form under Pep Guardiola and we do not believe that the Citizens are capable of winning the domestic trophy.

The lack of experienced defenders seems to be the team’s biggest problem in the 2016/2017 season, but Liverpool are definitely capable of clinching their first league title since 1990.

Jurgen Klopp is on the right track to bring glory days back to Anfield, but the majority of football predictions are in favour of the Blues winning the national championship.

Chelsea are more of a team than Liverpool and the Reds often drop points in matches against bottom-table sides.

Antonio Conte’s men, on the other hand, have been remarkable in games against underdogs so far this term and it is no surprise a number of football predictions suggest the Blues will finish the season in top position in the standings.

Arsenal made a flying start to the season, but, as things stand now, French tactician Arsene Wenger is going to disappoint the Gooners once again.

The Emirates Stadium outfit dropped six points in festive fixtures and they are unlikely to regain the domestic trophy.

Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez is enjoying yet another successful season, but Arsene Wenger need to add more top-class players to the squad if he is to help the Gunners regain the Premier League title.

Tottenham Hotspur have been producing scintillating displays in the national championship ever since Harry Kane returned from injury and, no doubt, Spurs should be considered as one of the main candidates to win the trophy.

Delle Alli has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most significant stars and it is more than obvious that there is a bright future ahead of him.

Tottenham, though, need to improve their away record if they are to keep their hopes of winning the Premier League title alive, but that is easier said than done. Anyhow, Mauro Pochettino’s men should not be written off just yet, speaking of the title race.

Manchester United made a slow start to the season and many people expected that Jose Mourinho would have yet another season to forget.

The “Special One” struggled with Chelsea in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign, but the Red Devils have been producing splendid displays under the Portuguese tactician of late.

Thanks to the FA Cup win over Reading Manchester United extended their winning run to seven matches in all competitions, although the English giants need to keep on improving their game if they are to win the domestic trophy.

Paul Pogba has yet to start paying off, however the French attacker is certainly capable of helping Jose Mourinho’s team book their place in the elite competition.

Taking everything into account, Chelsea are leading the standings ahead of Matchday 21.

Antonio Conte can count on all his first-team regulars and we predict that the Blues are going to win the Premier League title.

The Italian tactician is taking every single match very seriously and the former Juventus boss, who has already broken a number of records with Chelsea, is likely to bring the trophy back to Stamford Bridge.

Our football predictions are in favour of the capital club and we recommend you to back the Blues to win their sixth league title.
